What should I do after a colonic?
It is recommended to stick to easier to digest foods following your colonic. Foods like warm vegetable soup, warm vegetable or bone broth, steamed vegetables, avocado, and fresh pressed juices are normally ideal post-colonic. Too much roughage for the 24 hours following your colonic may cause cramping or bloating. It is also recommended to drink electrolytes post treatment and take probiotics. If you feel nauseous or flu-like after your colonic, rest and drink ample water. Additional tips include taking a warm bath, drinking peppermint, fennel, or chamomile tea, and using therapeutic grade essential oil of peppermint.
